December 2010 - Ayöök kaajpïn kya 'yin y 'öökïn/Tradición alimenticia del pueblo Ayuuk (The preparation, production and consumption of the the traditional food and drink of the Ayuuk People) is a brand new book that will please the literate foodies who love Mexican food. The bilingual tome is written in Español and Ayuuk. (Sorry no English language version ... yet). The book is on sale at Grupo Lulaa, Tienda Ayuuk (Santa Maria del Tule) and the Friday/Saturday Pochimilco Market.

julio 2009 - Con motivo de celebración del Lunes del Cerro, se realizazo la comida tradicional Mixe a precios accesibles, se llevará a cabo en Paraje La Peona San Francisco Lachigoló. Despues se realizaro una caminata a la fiesta del Señor Jerónimo Tlacochahuaya.

On the outskirts of town crafts are sold at the gas station at Rancho Guadalupe Victoria. Ask for Ernestina Gutierrez Vasquez or her brother Lorenzo.
